Application case of temperatureswitch for instant water heater-HCET temperature control

Nowadays, people rely more and more on water heaters. Electric water heaters have become the first choice for household water heaters due to their safety and constant temperature. There are many types of water heaters. Recently, instant electric water heaters are favored by the masses.

The instan electric water heater adopts measures such as non-metal heating body, water and electricity isolation technology, leakage protection device, grounding protection, etc., and multiple protections to ensure safety. However, the power of the instantaneous water heater is relatively large, the requirements for household electrical circuits are higher, and the safety protection performance of the water heater is even higher, so the temperature control switch is an indispensable device in the water heater safety protection system.

The temperature control switch used by the instantaneous electric water heater is mostly the same as some other water heaters, such as small type kitchen heaters, self-heating faucets, etc. The general principle is over-temperature protection. When the water temperature exceeds the safe temperature, the water heater will stop working and wait for the water temperature to drop. After coming down and restarting, these are all automatic protection functions. Today, I will introduce the customer case of this product.

Our customer is a manufacturer of instant electric water heaters and needs a thermostat with temperature control and manual reset, which can withstand high power and control the temperature at around 110°C. According to customer requirements, we recommend KSD307 bipolar temperature control switch, the current can reach 45A, the temperature control can be instantaneous power-off protection, and it has an automatic reset function. The KSD307 temperature control switch is a fully enclosed bimetal contact temperature-sensing temperature relay, which bends the metal sheet according to the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction, so as to quickly trip and connect within the preset temperature range, and protect the electrical appliance. This product is very suitable for use in all kinds of water heaters.
