In fact, it is very simple. It is to press an electric heating plate or electric heating film in the rearview mirror lens on both sides. Generally, there will be a rearview mirror heating button on the center console of the car. 

 Usually, a temperature control switch is installed in the place where the electric heating plate is used to protect the electric heating plate from being too high to stop heating in time and burn out other parts.  

Installation method of the temperature control switch in the rearview mirror: select the temperature control switch with appropriate size and electrical parameters, and put the temperature control switch close to the heating pad, which can be fixed with thermal conductive silica gel. One wire of the temperature control switch is connected to the electric heating plate and the other is connected to the power cord.  The electric heating plate is rapidly heated to a certain temperature within a few minutes, usually between 35 and 50℃, so as to achieve the effect of anti-fog defrost, so the temperature control switch can choose about 50 to 60℃, at this temperature automatically power off.
